The storm has a very slight upgrade and is now Tropical Storm Nicole.  This change has no impact on our immediate circumstances, which remain a rain event, and even that is intermittent.  All facilities open, all operations normal.  It will be worse as the day wears on, more and heavier rain through the early evening and night.  On the positive side, tomorrow is supposed to be sunny day in Miami!

To the hospital neighbor who called about storm shutters, I wouldn’t bother with it this time.

p.s.  to my people on the coast of S.C. and VA, this is coming your way.

Hoverin’ by my suitcase, tryin’ to find a warm place to spend the night
Heavy rain fallin’, seems I hear your voice callin’ “It’s all right.”
A rainy night in Georgia, a rainy night in Georgia
It seems like it’s rainin’ all over the world
